The Girbau stand at Hostelco became an excellent meeting point, enabling customers to see at first hand the various possibilities for reducing energy consumption and costs in general in their laundries.
Visitors attended several demonstrations for small and medium-sized laundries such as coin-op or laundries for hotels and communities/route. There were also demonstrations for business with large-scale production requirements. The aerial loading system for batch washers and folders in operation, for example, illustrated how a laundry can be operated efficiently and cost-effectively.
By means of demonstrations and advice from the technical and sales team present during the show, visitors received information on how to make savings in each one of the processes in the laundry: washing, drying and ironing.
Girbau’s technical and sales heads provided a hands-on explanation on machines in operation of the best practices for achieving a higher profitability in laundries.
The group’s Sales, Marketing and Services Vicepresident, Toni Rubiés, insists that "at Hostelco we have attracted new clients by showing them in situ how and why our machines achieve real energy and cost savings. Live demonstrations help observers get a better understanding of the advantages of one product over another. At Hostelco we have not only sold machines, but also management solutions and concepts".
For her part, the group’s President, Mercè Girbau, valued Hostelco 2012 positively, despite the low presence of laundry equipment manufacturers. "We have participated in this fair since its inception and we remain committed to the Fira de Barcelona and Hostelco. Our clients in Spain deserve to have a meeting point where they can exchange and share ideas, and that allows us to continue accompanying them. And even more so in the current economic context," insists Girbau.
