The Girbau Group, one of the world’s leading laundry equipment manufacturers has announced the re-launch of its United Kingdom subsidiary.
Girbau UK Limited will replace Viking, the company which previously represented Girbau in the UK. David Oliver, who until now was in charge of Viking is to retire from professional activity.
The newly created Girbau UK will be joined by the team from JHC Laundry Equipment Limited, a company well-known in the United Kingdom for its excellent technical services.
Combining the teams from Girbau and JHC will amount to a possible turnover of more than 7 million pounds, with more than 50 employees working to provide the best possible laundry solutions for every type of community.
The new General Manager for Girbau UK and Chief Executive Officer for JHC Laundry, Peter Marsh, is very positive about the new project, and in his words: “Girbau is probably one of the world’s most renowned laundry equipment manufacturers. I am convinced we will be able to double turnover within three to five years”.
With many ambitious objectives in mind Girbau UK plans to increase its sales team, expand the after-sales service and strengthen its network of distributors.
Pere Girbau chairman of the Girbau Group firmly believes the creation of Girbau UK will be a major turning point for the group’s performance in the United Kingdom. “The combination of Girbau’s extensive and highly praised range of equipment together with the service provided by JHC augurs very well indeed for the future of Girbau UK. We are absolutely convinced that our UK clients will recognise and appreciate the advantages brought to them through this project”, he added.
Aside from the United Kingdom, the Girbau Group also has subsidiary companies in Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, United Arab Emirates, United States, France and China.
